All loaded Up... Time to see Tulla float.

We are ready for lift-off...

We have lift...

Up, up, and away!

all most there!!!

YES we have water...

and now we are leaking at a rate of every 1 minute the bilge pump comes on...

Tulla sure looks good in the water... it has been 6 weeks 3 guys worked full time to get Tulla here!
and the cost? i didn't have to go to rehab!!!

It's a funny thing... we set the mast in place and something was off! it look like the mast was raked forward... and all 3 of us just could not figure it out. So i went to my dock anyway...

Now that I'm at my slip i see the problem!!! i have the mast step in backwards... what a dope! So back to the boat yard to pull the mast again and another $130 bucks...well at lest that was the only thing that went wrong!
Time to load Tulla on the trailer and head for the water!

Here are my 3 guys that did all the work. they sure were happy to see Tulla GO!

Here are some of the products that we used...

Kiwigrip non-skid gel, we are going to try to used this product on the decks. You need a special roller to get the texture for the non-skid. this stuff is 10 times thicker that paint... here goes!

the old non-skid 2 years old, did not work at all...

Now this stuff looks good and has a lot of non-skid for out in the SF Bay!

Pettit bottom paint 1675 Trinidad red... we layed on 2 coats of the bottom paint.

Looks good all painted up, almost ready for the water!

Varnish-Paint and Varnish somemore...
